Stretch and Mobility Classes

At Leongolden Academy, we believe movement is for everyone; from moms rediscovering their strength to little ones taking their first steps. Our Moms & Littles classes create a welcoming space for mothers to rebuild, recharge, and connect through guided fitness, breath work, and full-body conditioning, kids welcome! For toddlers, our Born to Move program nurtures early development through music, dance, and play, helping build coordination and confidence from the start. To support total wellness, our Stretching & Mobility classes help you release tension, improve flexibility, and prevent injury through active techniques and mindful movement. For those seeking a personalized touch, our 1:1 stretch sessions provide hands-on guidance tailored to your body’s unique needs. Whether you’re moving, stretching, or bonding, Leongolden Academy is where strength and balance begin.

Moms & Littles

For the Moms: Fitness Group
This class is for moms at any stage of life. It is geared towards the particular needs of mothers, which may include childbirth recovery and support for the physical demands of caretaking. We will begin with a warm up, core work, breath work, and active mobility. Then you will be led through a full body conditioning circuit. Lastly, the class will end with a deep stretch. Our group creates a space to reconnect with your own body, with or without your children tagging along!

Born to Move: Waddlers (Ages 12-24 Months)

Set your little ones up for success! This motor development curriculum was

created by physical therapist and gymnastics professional, Brandi Smith. Children aged 12-24 months will learn through movement, dance, and music. Through a holistic movement and neurodevelopment approach, this program covers all six sensory motor building blocks– and it’s a whole lot of fun!

Stretching and Mobility

Mobility Class
Find your center and release tension. This full body mobility class is a great way to stretch, strengthen through the full range of motion, and relax. This class will include active mobility techniques like PNF, myofascial rolling, core and balance, breath work, and some static stretches. This will become a key part of your weekly training practice to help you avoid injury and move well!

1:1 Stretch Sessions

Hands-on personal stretch sessions are available for those who would like focussed assistance with stretching. Your flexibility coach will provide physical support, allowing you to relax and stretch more effectively than you may be able to on your own. Similar to the group mobility class, these sessions will include techniques such as PNF, myofascial rolling, and static stretches. The game changer is that it will be tailored to your specific needs and goals.

Future Classes to Include Aerial Sling & Lyra
Youth Creative Movement (Age Groups: 2-3, 4-7, 8-12, 13-17)
Youth will develop coordination through tumbling, dance, and aerial sling. In this class, participants will invert, turn, develop strength, and learn skills. By supporting sensory development and promoting body awareness, this class will also compliment the child’s success in other disciplines such as martial arts.

Aerial Mobility (16+)
This slower paced class will flow through a series of exercises on the aerial sling. Participants will develop their mobility, as well as strength through their full range of motion, while supported by the apparatus. Take a deep breath, find your flow, and build trust with your body in space.

Aerial Dance (16+)
Aerial dancers will learn new skills, gain strength, develop their flexibility, and learn to build choreography on the aerial sling and lyra. Classes will include active mobility, exercises and skills on the apparatus, aerial combinations, free movement, and deep flexibility. With enough practice, participants will be prepared to perform– or they can just enjoy the process! This class does not require prior experience, but it is geared towards adults with an interest in dance or artistry.
